About The Event
Description: Early war France 1940 event set in the battles for Wormhoudt in June, 1940.
Scenario: With their backs to the English Channel, remnants of the Durham Light Infantry and
reconstituted French Army units struggle to hold off determined German assaults. Meanwhile,
Infantry Regiment GD & their SS counterparts advance aggressively towards Wormhoudt to
break the Allied defenses. German bombings have also cause some roads to be clogged with displaced civilians. These civilians are non combatants but may impede the progress of Allied and Axis forces.
High Authenticity Standards for early war impressions. This will be an event where Living
History is prioritized over powder burning.
Accomidations: Participants will stay in 10 man quonset huts. A Covered eating area will be utilized for meals.

Axis: Infantry Regiment GD, Infantry Regiment 39, SS-Regt 2 VT - Germania
Non Combatants: Period Civilian Clothing

COVID Information: For the safety of all participants, it is highly recommended you do not travel or engage in high risk activities 14 days prior to the event to decrease your risk of contracting COVID-19. It is also highly recommended you get tested for COVID-19 the week prior to the event. All participants must check in at arrival to turn in their waivers and receive a temp check.
No participants are required to stay overnight at the site. Participants are welcome to find alternate lodging offsite if they prefer.
