Description

Imperial Japanese Army (IJA) PNW is a group of living historians dedicated to researching and reenacting the lives of Japanese Soldiers during the Asia-Pacific War. Our goal is to better understand the experiences of average Japanese troops, honor the memory of those who fell in service to their country, and to better the understanding of a misunderstood people. As the Japanese Empire spanned from the jungles of Burma, to the plains of China, and to the coasts of Alaska, we do not portray a single unit, but instead attempt to portray Japanese Army troops wherever they may be found.

As a non-political living history organization, we do not support or condone any neo-nazi, extremist, or anti-American organizations or activities.
